My First Post

Well...here goes nothing!  Thanks to my new love for Pinterest, I decided to start blogging.  Whenever I'm browsing this addictive site, I see so many great DIY projects, recipes, quotes, etc. and am always thinking, "I want to make that!" or "I have a recipe for that!"   And for the 2 out of all 6 of you reading this that didn't know, I love DIY projects, crafts, and cooking/baking (yeah, I know...not the coolest thing in the world to have as a hobby at my age...don't judge me!)  Not to mention, I recently bought my first house and am always buying old pieces of furniture to re-finish or transform into something totally different.

I'm looking forward to giving this a shot - please bear with me while I figure this whole thing out!
